Trade council wants more land for cotton production

The National Council on Industry, Trade and Investment has urged state governments to provide more land for the production of cotton.

The NCTII also urged  the Federal Government to ensure that all industrial layouts in the country were provided with constant electric power supply to reduce the cost of production.

It  stated these in a communiqué issued at the end of its 10th national meeting in Umuahia, Abia State, last week.
