Internet fraudsters jailed two years

A Kwara State high court sitting in Ilorin has sentenced two internet fraudsters, Oyedele Olamide and Abdulrahman Mohammed, to two years’ imprisonment.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ilorin zonal office, had charged the two persons separately before the court for impersonation and fraud.

The EFCC alleged that Abdulrahman (alias Fox Tim) on September 28, 2019 pretended to be Fox Tim and received a $50 iTunes gift card through his email account from one Brian Kelly, an American citizen.
