On Saturday, June 22, a twitter user with the name Fati called out Air France for their racist behavior towards African who boarded their airline.
The user on the micro messaging recalled a time when Air France abandoned Africans at the airport lounge for two days while they provided accommodation for their European and American customers.
Fati said following the way they were treated, they had to pay for their own hotel so they could avoid being stranded at the airport.
She said a Nigerian lawyer came to their rescue when he created a WhatsApp group and ensured all of them were properly compensated.
The Nigerian lawyer who created the WhatsApp group later subtweeted Fali's tweet, adding that he was the person who was mentioned in the tweet:
Air France replied to the Fati's tweet and asked the twitter user to provide them with with her booking reference so they can investigate the issue further.
Fati would not have it lightly as she used the opportunity to tell the airliner to treat Africans who use their service humanely, adding that their treatment of black is very poor.
Many Nigerians also reacted to the issue, saying they have also had similar experience with other airliners in the past. Some of them blamed the lack of rules by African governments as the cause.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a young man reportedly from his allocated seat on the airplane.

According to an Instagram user, Tonye Patrick Cole, who had witnessed the incident, the man had arrived later than the professor and he asked him to stand up from his seat.
