Pastor Chris Okafor, the leader of Grace Nation popularly called Liberation City has responded to the claim that the woman known for her bulgy arm Bose Olasunkanmi was paid a huge sum to perform a fake miracle in the church.
The man of God said that the church only helped the woman after realising that she had been going to churches to extort them with her condition, The Sun reports.
Legit.ng earlier reported that to limelight in October 2019, after videos of her in different churches surfaced on social media.
In one of the videos posted online, Olasunkanmi was spotted in pastor Chris Okafor’s church, where she was healed of her bad hand.
Recently Legit.ng gathered that and she confessed to getting paid by pastors who used her for fake miracles. According to her, she has gone to some churches across the country to act out fake miracles.
Also, in an interview with a daily newspaper, Olasunkanmi said that she was at pastor Chris’ church and she was given N400, 000.
Denying the report that his church was involved with Olasunkanmi in performing fake miracles, the leadership of Liberation City said that the money the church gave the woman was just to help her.
Pastor Chris said that he sent his ministers to look for the woman after seeing her viral video. According to him, the church gave her N400, 000 to empower her so that she could stop begging.
