Salihu Lukman, the director-general of the Progressives Governors’ Forum, has blamed Adams Oshiomhole, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for the crisis in the party.
Lukeman in a memo sent to the reconciliation committee chaired by Bisi Akande said the crisis in the party is getting worse by the day, The Cable reports.
The party chieftain stated that the APC national working committee (NWC) led by Oshiomhole can no longer provide the needed leadership to win elections for the party because of the chairman’s level of intolerance.
He said the NWC under Oshiomhole allows political opponents to get electoral victory.
Lukeman stated that Oshiomhole does not condone any disagreement or criticism expressed against any of his decisions and carries out punitive actions against anyone that criticizes him.
Meanwhile, and former speaker of the Edo state House of Assembly has reacted to the ongoing rift between Adams Oshiomhole and Governor Godwin Obaseki.

Okosun who made the allegation during an interview on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics said: "Before this time, the governor has threatened that each time Comrade (Oshiomhole) comes to Edo state, he has given orders that he should be dealt with.
"What you saw yesterday was an attempt to actually implement that instruction for the governor to deal with Adams Oshiomhole, his predecessor in office. His high demand is that he should be killed.”
In another news, governor, Senator Lawrence Oborawharievwo Ewhrudjakpo and his party to swap the allegedly forged National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) certificates presented to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The APC said the deputy governor and the PDP are already currently trying to replace the NYSC certificate Ewhrudjakpo used for his senatorial and governorship contests.
The party's deputy national publicity secretary, Mr Yekini Nabena, who made the allegation also stated that unknown to the Bayelsa deputy governor and the PDP, the APC have already obtained the certified true copies of the allegedly forged NYSC certificates.
In a statement made available to newsmen in on Sunday, February 23, Nabena warned the leadership and all officials of INEC and NYSC not to allow themselves to be used or succumb to any form of pressure to swap the alleged forget certificates.
The statement also called on the INEC and NYSC officials not to succumb to any form of pressure from the PDP and its elements.
An Abuja Area Court had on Wednesday, February 19 ordered the Department of State Security (DSS) to investigate the NYSC certificate forgery allegation against Ewhrudjakpo.
