Tyson reportedly wanted to challenge a gorilla for $10k during his boxing career

Mike Tyson is known for his love for wild animals and he once dared to fight a bloody gorilla.
The undisputed heavyweight champion who once had a tiger as a pet visited a zoo with his partner Robin Givens.
He had the whole zoo to himself that day but noticed a gorilla was picking on the others and Tyson took offence.
Tyson who is also referred to as Iron wanted do the unbelievable and challenge the gorilla for a fight.
And he offered the zoo keeper $10,000 so that he would vent his anger on the gorilla and throw punches at it.
"I paid a worker at New York's zoo to re-open it just for me and Robin," said Tyson.
"When we got to the gorilla cage there was one big silverback gorilla there just bullying all the other gorillas.
"They were so powerful but their eyes were like an innocent infant. I offered the attendant $10,000 to open the cage and let smash that silverback's snotbox! He declined."
Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion ever after a second round knockout of Trevor Berbick at the age of 20.
