A Nigerian-American, Anthony Abayomi Alabi, will be starring in Netflix’s Family Reunion, for its Season 2.
According to Variety, the news was made known on Tuesday, September 17, as the series will be coming with 16 new episodes.
The Nigerian who was born on February 16, 1981, was also a former American footballer. He was in the Miami Dolphins in 2005 after he had played at Texas Christian College.
He began professional acting in 2010. He is also an all-round athlete as he is good in basketball and track and field sports aside the football he is known for.
It should be note that he has been a state champion twice for track and field events. Alabi’s acting career really picked up when he retired from sports in 2009.
According to his public profile on Wikipedia, he is a child to a Nigerian father and Puerto Rican mother. He bagged a degree in criminal justice and has a minor in business administration.
The Nigerian American currently lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife and two children.
