The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has shifted the screening of aspirants for various positions in the upcoming PDP Kogi state congress for the election of a new Kogi state executive, earlier scheduled for Monday July 8 to Wednesday, July 10.
A statement from the national publicity secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbodiyan, indicates that the exercise is scheduled to hold at the PDP state secretariat, Lokoja, the Kogi state capital.
The statement also revealed that the screening appeals will now hold on Friday, July 12, while other dates related to the congress remain the same.
“The PDP National Working Committee (NWC) directs all aspirants and, of course, all members of the party, particularly in Kogi state, to be guided accordingly,” the statement noted.
Meanwhile, Prince Mustapha Audu has declared that he has the capacity to govern Kogi state, while stating that Governor has not performed in government because he is usurper.
Audu, 37, made the statement during an exclusive interview with Legit.ng in Abuja on Thursday, June 27.
